【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesmethodsofcalculatingthetheoreticalquantityofoutdoorairrequiredincargospacesofshipswherevehicleswithinternalcombustionenginesaredriven,inordertodilutethepollutedairtowithinthepermittedoccupationalexposurelimits.AnnexAspecifiesaveragevaluesoftheamountsofpollutantsinexhaustgasesfromvehicleswithinternalcombustionenginesdrivenincargospacesinships.AnnexBgivesgeneralinformationandguidanceastogoodpracticefortheventilationofcargospacesinshipswherevehicleswithinternalcombustionenginesmaybedriven.UsersofthisInternationalStandardshouldnotethat,whileobservingtherequirementsofthestandard,theyshouldatthesametimeensurecompliancewithsuchstatutoryrequirements,rules,andregulationsasmaybeapplicabletotheindividualshipconcerned.UsersshouldalsorefertoguidelinesdevelopedbytheInternationalMaritimeOrganization(IMO)containedintheMaritimeSafetyCommitteeCircular729(MSCCirc.729),GuidelinesandRecommendationsforVentilationsystemsinRO-ROCargoSpaces.
