【摘要】:Cyanideandhydrogencyanidearehighlytoxic.Regulationshavebeenestablishedtorequirethemonitoringofcyanideinindustrialanddomesticwastewatersandsurfacewaters.Thistestmethodisapplicablefornaturalwater,salinewaters,andwastewatereffluent.Themethodmaybeusedforprocesscontrolinwastewatertreatmentfacilities.ThespottestoutlinedinTestMethodsD2036,AnnexA1canbeusedtodetectcyanideandthiocyanateinwaterorwastewater,andtoapproximateitsconcentration.1.1Thismethodisusedfordeterminingtotalcyanideindrinkingandsurfacewaters,aswellasdomesticandindustrialwastes.Cyanideion(CN-),hydrogencyanideinwater(HCN(aq)),andthecyano-complexesofzinc,copper,cadmium,mercury,nickel,silver,andironmaybedeterminedbythismethod.CyanideionsfromAu(I),Co(III),Pd(II),andRu(II)complexesareonlypartiallydetermined.1.2Themethoddetectionlimit(MDL)is1.0x03BC;g/Lcyanideandtheminimumlevel(ML)is3x03BC;g/L.Theapplicablerangeofthemethodis3to500x03BC;g/Lcyanideusinga200-x03BC;Lsampleloop.Extendtherangetoanalyzehigherconcentrationsbysampledilutionorchangingthesampleloopvolume.1.3Thismethodcanbeusedbyanalystsexperiencedwithequipmentusingsegmentedflowanalysis(SFA)andflowinjectionanalysis(FIA)orworkingundertheclosesupervisionofsuchqualifiedpersons.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecifichazardstatementsaregiveninNote2andSection9.
