【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversthetypes,physicalproperties,anddimensionsofunfaced,preformedrigidcellularpolyisocyanurateplasticmaterialintendedforuseasthermalinsulationonsurfacesfrom-297x00B0;F(-183x00B0;C)to300x00B0;F(149x00B0;C).Forspecificapplications,theactualtemperaturelimitsshallbeagreeduponbythemanufacturerandpurchaser.1.2Thisspecificationonlycoversx201C;polyurethanemodifiedpolyisocyanuratex201D;thermalinsulationwhichiscommonlyreferredtoasx201C;polyisocyanuratex201D;thermalinsulation.Thisstandarddoesnotencompassallpolyurethanemodifiedmaterials.Polyurethanemodifiedpolyisocyanurateandotherpolyurethanematerialsaresimilar,butthematerialswillperformdifferentlyundersomeserviceconditions.1.3Thisstandardisdesignedasamaterialspecification,notadesigndocument.Physicalpropertyrequirementsvarybyapplicationandtemperature.Attemperaturesbelow-70x00B0;F(-51x00B0;C)thephysicalpropertiesofthepolyisocyanurateinsulationattheservicetemperatureareofparticularimportance.Below-70x00B0;F(-51x00B0;C)themanufacturerandthepurchasermustagreeonwhatadditionalcoldtemperatureperformancepropertiesarerequiredtodetermineifthematerialcanfunctionadequatelyfortheparticularapplication.1.4ThetableintheAnnexA1addressesrequirementsofunfacedpreformedrigidcellularpolyisocyanuratethermalinsulationmanufacturedwithHCFCblowingagent.1.5Whenadoptedbyanauthorityhavingjurisdiction,codesthataddressfirepropertiesinmanyapplicationsregulatetheuseofthethermalinsulationmaterialscoveredbythisspecification.Firepropertiesarecontrolledbyjob,project,orotherspecificationswherecodesorgovernmentregulationsdonotapply.1.6Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.7Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
