【摘要】:Tensiontestsprovideinformationonthestrengthandductilityofmaterialsunderuniaxialtensilestresses.Tensiontests,asdescribedinthistestmethod,alsoprovideinformationonthesuperelasticity,asdefinedinTerminologyF2005,ofthematerialatthetesttemperature.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthetensiontestingofsuperelasticnickel-titanium(nitinol)materials,specificallythemethodsofdeterminationofupperplateaustrength,lowerplateaustrength,residualelongation,tensilestrength,andelongation.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
